Who is going to the Super Bowl? The money is on the Packers and the Patriots and with good reason as these two teams have first round byes and are at home leading up to the big game. The Patriots are a bigger favorite at press time then Green Bay, namely because New England gets to play the Broncos as 13 1/2 point favorites while the Packers host the Giants as 7 1/2 point favorites. Remember friends when betting on Pro Football games, it's a numbers game, literally, especially when it comes down to betting on and off key numbers. I addressed this in person during the Vegasinsider.com sports betting seminar in August at the Red Rock Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas. Most of us realize that the most common side number in Pro Football is 3, followed by 7, 4, 6, 10 in this order. Fifteen percent of all pro football games are decided by a field goal. Last season it was even more prevalent with 18 percent of all pro games being decided by 3. What about totals? The most common total in a pro football game is 37, followed by 41, 44, 38 and 45 in this order. Handicapping professional football has as much to do with KEY numbers as it does anything else. Give yourself a fighting chance by arming yourself with as much information as possible. Good luck in the playoffs. I will being doing another sports betting informational event Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, don't miss out. More details to follow. In the meantime, see the cashier! The great thing about the NBA Championship is the better team almost always wins. Think about NFL football, in the playoffs, if you have one bad game or turn the ball over, your season is done. In pro basketball, its best four of seven. The Lakers are the reigning NBA champs and with good reason, they are the best team with the best coach. Head coach Phil Jackson has won 10 NBA championships. Jackson has been named Coach of the Year only one time. Its amazing to me that Boston Celtics head coach, Doc Rivers has won twice as many Coach of the Year awards than Jackson. This is because Rivers is very likable and a media darling. In my opinion, Rivers is one of the most overrated coaches on the planet. I'v been saying the same thing about MIke Dunleavy for years, finally his fate was sealed when the Clippers recently said "see ya."

The Lakers will win the 2010 Championship based on talent, coaching and the hunger and desire to win back to back. Cleveland probably poses the biggest threat, simply because of Lebron James, the Cavs are 2-0 vs. Los Angeles and own the tie-breaker in regards to home court advantage. Lebron James is busy playing and coaching. Cleveland's HC Mike Brown is a good coach, not a great coach, and we both know Lebron makes the decisions. My money is on Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant and the other cast of characters that make up the Los Angeles Lakers.

There you have it friends, the Los Angeles Lakers will win the 2010 NBA Championship. Play the Lakers and see the cashier.
