Who is going to the Super Bowl? The money is on the Packers and the Patriots and with good reason as these two teams have first round byes and are at home leading up to the big game. The Patriots are a bigger favorite at press time then Green Bay, namely because New England gets to play the Broncos as 13 1/2 point favorites while the Packers host the Giants as 7 1/2 point favorites. Remember friends when betting on Pro Football games, it's a numbers game, literally, especially when it comes down to betting on and off key numbers. I addressed this in person during the Vegasinsider.com sports betting seminar in August at the Red Rock Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas. Most of us realize that the most common side number in Pro Football is 3, followed by 7, 4, 6, 10 in this order. Fifteen percent of all pro football games are decided by a field goal. Last season it was even more prevalent with 18 percent of all pro games being decided by 3. What about totals? The most common total in a pro football game is 37, followed by 41, 44, 38 and 45 in this order. Handicapping professional football has as much to do with KEY numbers as it does anything else. Give yourself a fighting chance by arming yourself with as much information as possible. Good luck in the playoffs. I will being doing another sports betting informational event Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, don't miss out. More details to follow. In the meantime, see the cashier!
